Diana painting - Diana goddess of the hunt in Mythology
Diana was the goddess of the hunt in Roman Mythology - in Greek mythology the goddess Artemis. Diana was the representer of the woods and wild animals, but also a symbol of the moon and - a more modern interpretation - 'Femme fatale'. The myth goes, that when Aceton saw her bathing, she turned him into a stag and led her hunting dogs loose to kill him.
